Threat Level 7.

Description: Z33-892. The anomalous object in question is a music box of 3 by 3 by 5 inches in dimensions, that when opened plays the melody of Swan Lake by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. It operates by lifting the lid, revealing a dancing clown statuette from the inside, spinning as the tune progresses. The longer it plays, the higher the likelihood of the entity residing in it would appear, colloquially dubbed "Daisy the Dancing Clown." The entity is a four-foot eleven humanoid with a feminine stature, draped in mid-century carnival clown attire, pigmented a red and white. Reportedly sporting a sinister grin, Daisy the Dancing Clown manifests at random points of the song. Recorded accounts begin with her being seen in the corner of your eye from a distance, however, reports also continue onto say the music box will start to play without prompt, with Daisy appearing much closer as time goes on.

Upon reviewing and cross-examining accounts from the first two exhibitions that housed the anomaly, Stewart Strange: Steward of the Strange exhibit as well as the former Carroll Cove History Museum, we can determine that the music box, once opened, makes listeners of the tune begin to feel uneasy and nauseous. They will then end up in a trance like state until the song reaches its climax, to which a disturbance within the vicinity occurs. Breaking free from the trance, the listener will realize that the statuette has disappeared, and the music will repeat, once again, somewhere far from their current location. This will entice them to start looking for the source of the sound only to be met by the entity, Daisy the Dancing Clown, performing behind them not long after. As the song once again reaches its climax, Daisy the Dancing Clown will then proceed to [REDACTED] before returning into the music box. These events were derived from Stewart Strange's journal as well as security camera footage from the former Carroll Cove History Museum.

Surveillance: Under normal circumstances, the anomaly should be kept within a Level 7 security container with video only surveillance to avoid exposure if it begins to play on its own. However, the location of the music box in question is currently unknown.

Current Status: Due to the threat level, former Senior Administrator, Doctor Christina Cognito had issued a priority alert for this that is still currently ongoing.

Notes: According to pamphlets from Stewart Strange: Steward of the Strange's exhibit, the anomalous object once belonged to Daisy Pusher, also known as Daisy the Dancing Clown. She was one of the resident performers from the Murphy's Travelling Carnival of Dreams, active from 1994 to 1995. An upcoming talent with a bright future ahead of her, she met her end during the 001 Incident a.k.a. The Great Slaughtering of 1995. It is said that upon her dying breath she "made a deal with the devil to keep her dreams from becoming regrets, cursing her into the box to live out the rest of her existence as Daisy the Dancing Clown". This final part may just be exaggeration for the purposes of the spectacle added by Strange, who exhibited the music box from 1999-2001.

During that time, staff working for the exhibit, including Strange himself, went missing for unknown reasons and have yet to be found to this day. Upon the Carroll Cove police department's investigation, they found Strange's journal documenting the events from when he first acquired the music box from the 001 Incident Site (Illegally) to what is presumed to be his final moments where he recorded his will and testament, barricaded in his office.

The box resurfaced once more in 2008 under the ownership of Evelyn Galeria the former curator of the Carroll Cove Museum, who found the music box at the local antique shop. No records of the music box being in the store's inventory have been found. The music box was displayed in the museum as one of the few remnants of Murphy's Travelling Carnival of Dreams where it was barricaded behind cordons that prevented the public from physically interacting with it. However, over the course of a year, disappearances amongst staff, volunteers, and the curator herself caused the museum to shut down permanently. During investigations, security footage was found showcasing the events detailed above, with a feminine anomaly presumed to be Daisy manifesting in every instance of the disappearance. Due to the lack of bodies and a culprit, these incidences were noted down as disappearances once again, however it further cemented the urban legend.

Addendum 1 The music box itself has not been secured as an anonymous local billionaire slash philanthropist, purchased it for his personal collection, which the music box has remained in until his disappearance in late 2019 followed by his niece early 2020. Though, it is speculated that their disappearances were not related to the music box as it has not appeared anywhere since. Due to this, no further observations nor testing can be made and locating this anomaly has been put in one of the highest priorities.
